Happy Holidays

I'm starting to wind things down for the holidays and wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas. Thanks to everyone who has been in contact with me through this blog this year, it's been great to get to know many of you at some events this year around the world. It's been a very big year for Moket in many ways, and 2007 looks like being even bigger.

Some of the Moket highlights of 2006 have been:
  • Moving into our new office with i.Lab (and into a bigger one for 2007!)
  • Seeing our content preinstalled on a Nokia phone in Singapore
  • Making some great relationships in the US with Smashing Ideas and FunMobility
  • Travelling to Seoul for FL Instructor training, then travelling to Manila and London to be an instructor for Adobe
  • Speaking at MAX and webDU
  • Doing the Total Training FL DVD (due out sometime in Jan 2007!)
  • Starting the Australian Adobe Mobile and Devices user group
It's interesting to look back on the past 2 years of working with Flash Lite and to see where we're currently at. It's picked up so much momentum in the past 12 months but we have a lot further to go before I think we're all happy :) But after spending some time with the Adobe guys this year I'm sure that Flash Lite will grow very quickly from here into what we know it can be. And Flahs Lite has quickly gotten itself a pretty core developer community as well, which has been a great source of inspiration and friendship this year.

Special thanks for stuff in 2006 goes out to Alessandro, Scott J, Bill, "Kim Chi" Talbot, John Koch, Luciano, Marco, Adam Abranksi, Paul "Aces High" Lamonby, Brian "Tony Hawk" Burke, Geoff Bowers, Rocketboots-Robin, Ed Sullivan, Cherie Lee, Dawn and Kerian, Anne-Marie, Peter, Danny Z, Shauny-boy ... and of course my beautiful wife Tanya who supports me in this crazy life of running a start-up company. Thanks darling!

Season's Greetings to everyone, and a happy new year!
