Having a chat with Alessandro this week about the recent spate of announcements from majot handset manufacturers regarding their adoption of the Flash Lite player. There have also been numerous reports of game developers working on Flash Lite versions of their products in anticipation of the seemingly imminent landslide of FL compatible phones and devices.
It certainly seems that the Flash Lite boat is finally setting sail, just as we all hoped it would. Sure, there are still various issues and arguments surrounding timings, implementations and restrictions on different devices, etc. But hey, at least it's getting out there right? Even just the "chatter" amongst industry people, even here in Australia, has gone up a notch ... it's getting very exciting!
There's some news brewing with Moket also that we're looking forward to hopefully releasing shortly, plus the webDU 2006 conference in only a couple of weeks ... it's all happening folks.
